Meet Our Medical Director:
Please help us welcome our new Medical Director Dr. Sira M. Segarra!! Snug Pet Resort & Animal Hospital is thrilled to let you know that we have asked Dr. Segarra to join our dynamic team and she is looking forward to helping our clients with their furry family members. Dr. Segarra was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended Veterinary School at Ross University and did her clinical year at UC Davis. After graduation, Dr. Segarra, worked for two years at a mixed animal practice with dogs, cats, horses, pigs and small ruminants, eventually deciding to focus on Small Animal Medicine and surgeries.
Dr. Segarra likes to spend her free time at the beach, hiking, doing outdoor activities and above all, spending time with her four-legged daughters, Leila and Gia. She is passionate about her career and the relationships she has built with her clients, their pets and her colleagues throughout her years as a veterinarian in San Diego. Dr. Segarra’s main goal being to join our Snug Team and help provide the best quality care to our Snug clientele as well as to educate our team and the community. Giving families and their fury children the best quality of life, she can!!
Dr. Segarra brings passion, care and a gentle touch to all of the clients and pets she interacts with. We look forward to our clients meeting her in person as we promise you will not be disappointed.
