Home > About Absolute K-9 > Tom Riche
Tom Riche has been training dogs for over eighteen years. An avid competitor for over ten years in Schutzhund, obedience, and personal protection. Tom was one of the first trainers to take an American Bulldog from a puppy all the way to a Schutzhund Three National competitor. Most often when Tom comes onto the Schutzhund field with one of this dogs the crowd grows quiet to watch. He has a way with striking a relationship with a dog and having that show when they are together working. Mr. Riche has helped take dozens of other people with their competition dogs to great levels of training as well as National events.
Tom specializes in the bull breeds (American Bulldogs, Pittbulls, Staffy Bulls, Ban dogs etc.). The other specialty that Tom has is the ability to help pet owners build a great relationship with their own dogs, grow to understand their behavior better and truly train a dog you can live with. Tom is currently working towards titling his own dogs in NAPD and PSA work.
